Boozoo Chavis - Don't Worry retailer About Boozoo

Made by Rob W Jones, this piece of assemblage art plays homage to Wilson Anthony "Boozoo" Chavis, a Louisiana man who's impact on the zydeco music is still heard today. Born in Church Point, Lousiana, Boozoo changed the retailer face of Creole music during the 50's with a button accordion and a Stetson cowboy hat.

Comprised of an old piece of picket fence and beer caps, this particular piece has a rough sketch on the back (almost like two piece of art in one). Measuring 37" long, 5.5" x 1", this piece was hand painted - see photos for more details.
