Dark navy blue cloth boards have a full front color pastedown that has rubbing at its edges. Covers are clean and with minimal wear - just rubs to the color at corners and spine tips and mild bumps at corners. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. B&w illustrated endpapers have a line of toning along gutters, but otherwise pages are clean. The Belongs To page is unfilled. The first page of the index has a tiny closed tear at top; the rest of the pages are whole. There are 700 nursery rhymes and over 100 illustrations, including 11 full color glossy plates plus the frontispiece. The rest are of varying sizes in black and white.

The most complete edition of Mother Goose nursery rhymes that retailer you're likely to find anywhere. Quite a scarce title and usually found in deplorable condition.
