A beautiful, vintage rendition of Madonna and Child brought to you by Goebel, West Germany.

This wonderful figurine, rare I might add, is in impeccable condition. Free of nicks, chips or scratches, actually no crazing, which seems to be common in this figurine.

Seated Madonna with child on her lap, hand raised over child as if blessing the baby. She has no halo or any type of religious item surrounding her, a crown of braid encompass her face, lovely. Beautiful soft colors of beige, blue, yellow and orange. Clearly marked on bottom with full Bee as well as V, Germany, embossed: HX 249xA. Also, 99 is embossed as well as small initial . retailer There is some sort of sticker on back, not a production sticker, just an old sticker, maybe someone's inventory number. I will leave the sticker and you can remove.

Measuring: 5" tall x 3 1/2" wide @ widest point. Please view all pictures as its a big part of my description.

FYI: Hummel means Bumble Bee

This figurine is absolutely stunning, haven't seen a prettier Madonna and Child out there!
