This is hand-embroidered cotton with a Santa face and holly leaves at each end. The Santa's beard, eyebrows, and mustache are done in a silver metallic thread to make retailer them stand out. The white fur is in the same blue thread color as all the snowflakes around the head. The holly leaves are in a Christmas green with red berries and the ribbon attached is a gold metallic thread. There is a tiny lace trim around the edges of the runner. Metallic thread is very hard to work with as it breaks easily. This is a time-honored labor-intensive project.
