retailer Imagine that you were living in Los Angeles California in 1901 (7 years before the introduction of the model T Ford) and that you were interested in photography. You might have found your way to Munsey & Company Photo Supplies and purchased this lovely little Kodak No. 2 Brownie Camera. This simple covered cardboard box camera has survived 120+ years and is in beautiful condition. The camera is just as usable today as it was 120 years ago. The camera makes 6 exposures 2 1/4 X 3 1/4 (6cm X 9cm) on 120 film. In fact, this is the camera for which Kodak originally introduced 120 film. The N0. 2 Brownie was produced for 32 years from 1901 to 1933. During that time there were many variations in finish including some in colors. The cameras were made in both Rochester New York and in London England. This is a beautiful example of the original version with a meniscus lens and rotary shutter. It has the smooth leather finish and the original version of the sliding rear clamp for closing the film door. All you need is to load your roll of 120 film and start shooting. Why not shoot some film with it and add this special old camera to your collection today.
