1920s-1930s Art Nouveau, Art Deco Reverse Painted Glass Cake Stand on retailer Pedestal with Floral Motifs

This is a real beauty, a truly special piece. The plate has a delicate, octagonal shape and sits on top of a short pedestal. An inner circle of bright orange glass leads into a band of clear glass with hand-painted flowers before transitioning into a perimeter of scalloped white glass. With its cheery florals and eight- pointed star shape, it has a festive flair so would be great around the holidays — or really just anytime you want to add a little elegance to your table setting!

It measures 14” along the diameter and stands at about 1 1/4” tall. This is an antique with commensurate wear but in great condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some loss to areas of the paint, as well retailer as a few minor, shallow scratches to the glass, which are reflected in the pictures.
