ABOUT: Lanvin is the worlds oldest fashion house still in operation. Acknowledged in the 60s, when Antonio Castillo was creative director, as selling the most expensive dresses ever produced.

Founded by Jean Lanvin in 1889. She was an aficionado of culture, who surrounded herself with artists and young talents from different artistic disciplines, and today, faithful to her philosophy, Lanvin remains design led, both through it's collections and stylish advertising campaigns. Castillo was artistic director from 1950 to 1962 - followed by Jules-Francois Crahay until 1984 - Claude Montana filled the role between 1990 through 1992.
