Antique Vintage Flower retailer Marcasites Carved Shell Silver Pendant/Brooch

Stunning vintage carved flowers and marcasites silver cameo/pendant brooch.

Here we have a lovely cameo/pendant brooch with finely carved flowers and leaves.
The brooch has a decorative border of silver, decorated with rose cut sparkling marcasites.
The cameo is held firmly in retailer place with four silver claws.
A pendant loop is fitted on the reverse, so that the brooch can be worn as a pendant.
The cameo is malarkey on the reverse 800 for continental silver.
The pendant/brooch has a self safety catch on the pin fastening. It fastens securely as it should.

I have only very lightly cleaned it, as I like to see the original antique patina on the silver.
The brooch can be polished more with a silver polishing cloth.
